About me

Thank you for stopping by. I’m a 32 year old guy living in Finland pursuing full or at least partial financial freedom. I began my investing journey in 2014 but after 3-4 years I bought an apartment with my girlfriend and ended up selling all of my dividend stocks. Now I'm on my way building my portfolio again and pursuing my goal. I`m going to accomplish financial freedom through frugal living and building a diversified dividend growth portfolio while buying some rental properties. Don`t get me wrong, I really like my job but the thought of living financially free is what got me into investing and eventually keeping this blog.

The purpose of this blog is to serve as a roadmap for people who want to retire early, achieve financial independence or just get some extra money through passive income. I am not a licensed professional of any kind and this blog should be viewed for entertainment purposes only. Everyone's financial situation and life are different, and you should make your own investment decisions. Keep in mind that all investments have risk, including losing most or all of your money.

I hope you enjoy my blog.

  3. Hi, I would think that I too, are starting out in terms of dividend portfolio. Is there a reason why you decided to cash out for the apartment instead of say, taking a higher loan but continue getting dividends from portfolio?

  4. Hi Lyn, the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority is very strict on how much you can have debt. I didn't meet the requirements so I ended up selling my stocks.
